I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to give this piece a shot. In short, when I wrote this novella I was greatly inspired by the stylings of some incredible minimalist authors (Murakami, Vonnegut, and Bukowski to name a few). So if the sentences feel staccato and light in the way of punctuation, it’s on purpose, I promise you get used to it.
